More than a purchase. A purpose.
At Village Goods, the products on our shelves tell a bigger story.

We are an independent, locally governed 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to the Fair Trade mission. Through the sale of handcrafted products, we help create economic opportunities for artisans and their communities around the world.

Behind every product is a maker whose creativity, skill, and work deserve to be valued. Fair Trade connects these makers with people who appreciate their work, helping support a more equitable approach to global commerce.

When you shop at Village Goods, you can find something beautiful while supporting something meaningful.

Good finds. Global connections. Shopping with purpose.
New name. Same heart.
For more than three decades, our community has helped make this store a special place to shop with purpose. As Ten Thousand Villages shifted its focus to wholesale and online business, our local organization embraced the opportunity to continue independently under its own board of directors.

Village Goods reflects both what you will find in our store and the connections that make it special.

Village represents connection—to artisans, makers, and communities around the world, as well as the customers and neighbors here at home who support their work.

Goods represents the beautiful, useful, and meaningful products that bring us together, each with a story behind it.

Our name and logo have changed, but our commitment to Fair Trade remains. We will continue to carry products from Ten Thousand Villages while expanding our relationships with other Fair Trade vendors, creating even more opportunities to discover distinctive products and the people who make them.

We're proud of our history, grateful for our community, and excited about what's ahead.
